Up for sale is an antique vintage Stephen J. Feron tennis racquet circa 1950s-60s. This is an absolutely beautiful tennis racquet from one of the premier racquet makers in New York City from the 1919 to past the 1960s. This is the Imperial model made for players that like to wack the ball. The stampings are all readable with a minimum amount of fading in the color. The NYC address is clearly on one side and the registration number on the other side of the racquet. There are no breaks in the cat gut. The F at the bottom of the racquet as well as the grip are all in excellent shape. In addition the racquet comes with its own case which has one small rip. The zipper is still functional. Also it has a racquet press. This is truly a remarkable piece of tennis history with all three pieces in place and in excellent condition. A truly rare find.
