SHIPPING COST CAN BE CONFIRMED BEFORE PURCHASE BY EMAILING ME YOUR POSTAL CODE.Ideal for intermediate and advanced players, the Wilson Ultra 97 is a light and lively player’s racquet that does not skimp on control. FROM TENNIS.COM REVIEWOf the four entries in Wilson’s new Ultra line the mid-plus 97 has the most mass, the smallest head size, and the softest flex. The other noticeable difference is it’s the only Ultra that doesn’t have Cushion Foam in the handle and Parallel Drilling for the grommets. So it doesn’t have quite the same shock absorption and comfort, particularly outside the sweet spot. The upshot is there’s more feedback for enhanced feel and precise play. The frame’s balance makes it highly maneuverable leading to big cuts on the ball. There’s good pop, although I didn’t find the same weight of a shot as some other new Wilson releases such as the Burn FST 95 or the Pro Staff 97S. Heavy hitters may want to add a little weight to the head to create a more penetrating ball. But from a control and playability standpoint the Ultra 97 is impressive.
