UP FOR BID IS A VERY OLD WHAT APPEARS TO BE UNIQUE WOOD HANDLE CHILDS ANTIQUE TENNIS RACKET. THIS RACKET IS ALMOST THE SAME LENGTH AS AN ADULTS RACKET BUT IT IS SUPER LIGHT IN COMPARISON. THE FRAME IS DESIGNED TO BE FOR CHILDREN. THIS RACKET IS PROBABLY LATE 1800'S EARLY 1900'S. I AM UNSURE OF THE MANUFACTURER BUT IT COULD BE A WRIGHT DITSON, SPALDING OR SOME OTHE BRAND NAME. NO NAME ON IT. CROSS STRINGS HAVE A FEW BROKEN. MAIN STRINGS ARE INTACT. SUPER THIN STRINGS. ITS QUITE POSSIBLE THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A SALESMAN SAMPLE BECAUSE IT IS THE SAME SIZE AS OTHER RACKETS OF THE ERA IT JUST DOES NOT APPEAR THAT ANY ADULT COULD USE IT. NICE WOOD NO CRACKS OR WARPAGE.
