Description
For your consideration a later 19th century "Belmont", Transitional from Flat-Top, Wooden Lawn-Tennis Racquet. Recent estate find. As found. Looks like the original fat strings. Measures about 25-7/8 inches long. The head is 8-5/8" wide by 10-1/2" long. It has a 4-1/4" grip. It weights 11 ounces. It is stamped on the throat "Belmont" and on the reverse side it has some remains of paint decoration. It was nicely made with dark and light woods. The grip has deep defined cross hatching. The condition is very good. Original finish. It remains flat. The strings are intact. There is a surface crack on the throat on one side. I've tried to show all the imperfections in the photos. All my items are guaranteed to be as described and pictured. If your ever unsatisfied returns are not a problem. Thanks for looking. No Reserve.
