Sorbothane Grip System, by Gosen. Not some cheap imitation, the REAL THINGDON"T BE FOOLED!
Unlike other products for sale on ebay, which are being called "Sorbothane Grips System" which appear to simply be loose pieces of Black Sorbothane material, which you must JURY RIG, these are the real thing in the original packaging, & they are wrapped onto the racquet just like other grips. They have an adhesive back just like any other grip, with a peeloff waxpaper liner to protect the adhesive.Simply cover the Sorbothane Material with an overgrip or Overgrips of your choice.
The Sorbothane Grip System includes an undergrip (blue) made of Sorbothane rubber, that is installed on your racquet pallet & then covered with an OVERGRIP of your choice. Sorbothane is highly effective at absorbing shock energy, that often causes Tennis Elbow.
Consider them to be like a Dr. Scholl's Gel insole for your racquet.The Grey Overgrip pictured in the package shouldn't be used as it has deteriorated due to age. You can use any type of overgrip you desire, Use 1 layer, or possibly 2, if you want your grip larger than original.The Sorbothane will never wear out, if not damaged in some way such as abuse. All that will be required is an occasional replacement of the outer overgrip, when it gets dirty, or after it loses it's effectiveness. Note that the installation of this product is quite tricky, even for an experienced racquet stringer & we must include this *disclaimer*.1) We will be happy to install the Sorbothane Overgrip for you, on a racquet you purchase from us, or one you send to us for installation.2) We suggest only allowing someone who has extensive experience with the product, to attempt installation, as the material is totally unlike any other grip material you or your stringer may be aware of.3) We will also be happy to provide telephone support to anyone who desires to attempt the installation, and trust us, we highly recommend you take us up on this offer.
