Andover Antique wood tennis racquet with leather case24 1/2" long 4 1/2" handle sizeHead is approximately 8" x 10 1/4" Appears to be Solid wedgeHas a straight slot wood screw on one side of the racquet at the small end of the wedge. (not sure if it is suppose to be there or not)Marked ANDOVER on one side Fairly straight racquetCondition is very good for display all strings are still in place. Case is made of leather and sewn together at edgesDue to age lid has separated from body of case.The racquet and case had been mailed at one time with a cost of what appears to be the use of a 20 and a 1 cent stamp. Not sure of age but the 20 cent stamp was from the 1923 to 1931 eraThis would be a great addition to anyone's collectionPlease view the pictures and email with any additional questions.
