For your consideration a 19th century Horsman Flat-Top Wooden Lawn-Tennis Racquet. Recent estate find. As found. Very old re-string. Measures 27-7/8 inches long. The head is 8-3/4" wide by 11-3/8" long. It has a 4-1/4" grip. It weights 11-1/2 ounces. It's stamped on the throat "Horsman Maker". It is nice and flat but there are some cracks on the head at the top and on one bottom side. I've tried to show all the imperfections in the photos.
