This is about one year old machine that works great. It will throw a tennis ball about 15-20 feet. It is a great tool to help you groove your strokes. It will hold 28 balls at one time. I set it on the service line and can hit baseline shots. Or you can set it at the net and practice approach shots or half court volleys or you can set it across the net and practice volleys. If your just beginning tennis or a junior player this is a great tool. At the cost of a couple of lessons this machine is invaluable. It uses 6 C batteries but is very economical on power use. I use rechargeable batteries and I've never run out of power on he court even after 2 hours of use.
