◄█ YONEX RD-23 Super Mid-Size "Ultimate Spin" tennis racquet with full-length padded & vented carry bag. This is a fairly lightweight (at least was at the time it was manufactured) Graphite Composite racquet with a fairly flexible frame that is neutrally balanced. It is 27 Inches in length and the head size is 105 Square Inches. It has a UL4 handle with 4 1/2" grip. Thanks to an open string pattern (16 mains by 19 crosses), ample flex, and isometric head shape; this racquet offers exceptional feel, ball control and is quite the "spin monster". It really is a "player's racquet" (for someone who likes to hit through the ball with a full swing) but didn't sell very well originally because it was manufactured in Taiwan at a lower price point so Yonex fans thought it would be lower quality. However, the reviews by actual owners have been very positive over the years. It has plenty of power from the baseline and does everything well at full speed (fun). Actual item pictured. If you like it, don't wait!Yonex makes "Isometric" racquets under the premise that if the mains are more even in length across the width of the racquet, the response across the hitting surface will be more even. The outcome of course, is a larger sweet spot and more consistent, controlled hits. I weigh this racquet at 11.2 Ounces as it sits. Including the carry bag packaged/shipping weight is 3 pounds.◄█ CONDITION: Fresh overgrip tape. Strings and frame are excellent. Minor paint wear and some minor rubs on/at the nose. Handle butt cap shows some minor wear/dings on the edge. Carry bag is free of holes and in very good condition. This racquet has a ton of life left in it! FINALLY!!
