With this update to the Blade 104, Wilson delivers a very maneuverable extended length racquet that doesn't skimp on control or feel. The impressive feel comes partly from the redesigned Graphite/Basalt matrix. The result is a more flexible response with greater dwell time, a feature that markedly enhances command over the ball. When strung with a multifilament, our playtesters found the perfect level of comfort without sacrificing an ounce of control. The extended length (27.5") and low swingweight (309 RDC) make this a fast swinging racquet with easy access to spin. The dense 18x19 string pattern provides exceptional control, a fact that should give a wider range of players the confidence to swing big and select ambitious targets. At net the fast feel makes this stick great on rapid exchanges, and the 104 square inch head provides a generous hitting surface for making clean contact.
