This slightly used, famous T 2000 metal racquet features an authentic new Wilson leather grip. • The racquet shows very little wear • The 1973 & 1974 model, unstrung: $40.50 • It comes with its original cover The T2000 was invented by former French Davis Cupper Rene Lacoste. He sold his patent to Wilson and then famous Jimmy Connors made it a household item. The T2000 was introduced in Sept. 1967: T2000, frame made of tubular steel, licensed by Rene Lacoste. The racket, however, was available to the general public only after 1969. Jimmy Connirs was the most famous player to use it for 18 years. He made it one of the most unforgettable rackets in the history of tennis. Billie Jean King used it also. Allegedly 2 million rackets of this model were made and sold by 1984, when production was halted.
