Vintage Clean Crisp Wood 1910 Magnan PAL North Attleboro MA Tennis Racket CLASSIC Antique nice old early wood wooden racquet made by the North Attleboro, MA, firm of Magnan Mfg. Corp. NOTE: Just in time for Wimbledon. Part of a group of 9 rackets I just found. I will list one racket a day between June 16 and June 24. Will combine items for reduced postage for multiple purchases. MODEL: 1910 Magnan “PAL” HEAD: Classic period oval; Stock is square at the shoulders and all the way around the head WARPING: none FRAME: clean condition; less than expected wear to the top of the head; small separation of the wedge from the frame as shown THROAT WEDGE: concave solid wedge in the style of the period STRINGS: as shown; looks like original lamb gut. BANDING: none; pre-dates banding materials DECALS: As shown; fair / excellent condition GRIP: 4 3/4 inches; pre-dates leather wrap grip material STAMPS: none WEIGHT: weighs 12.8 ounces actual weight END CAP: leather strip excellent; end cap as shown Postage will be based on 3.5 pounds of packed weight.
