This Regent Challenger is still in great condition. It has a well preserved original leather grip and a leatherette butt cap featuring the famous "DB" for Don Budge.
• This racquet is absolutely straight
• Strings and treblings are fully intact and in pristine condition
• All (8) shoulder wraps are in excellent condition, absolutely no damage
• The wrap on the shaft is also excellent
• All logos/decals are in great condition and only one of the two Don Budge pics has a small blemish
The racquet shows some usage on the top of the frame
This model is hard to find and very rare in this condition
Don Budge is the earliest (and only one of two) man to win all four Grand Slam tournaments in the same year (1938).
