Description Maker: Original materials, hand drawn and printed Material: On Paper Original/Reproduction: Unknown
For your consideration, a unique circa 1970’s original architectural
rendering of the proposed tennis courts and related facilities of the Bel-Air
Tennis Club, located in Bel Air, California. Most probably a one of a kind
piece, the massive 42” x 36” framed work appears to be created in tempura and
printers ink, with both hand drawn and printed details. The rendering
identifies the architects and builders as “Wojciechowski/Drag and Associates”, “The United States Building
Corporation”. The work is noteworthy for
its elegant and modernist design sensibility and overall 1970’s aesthetics; the
colors are saturated and the stylized detailing is of the first order. The piece is in excellent vintage condition,
commensurate to its age (please refer to photographs for details) with no
damage or repairs. The massive work
looks fabulous amidst modernist décor in both private residential and professional
environments.
