APC Smart-UPS SUA2200RM2U 2200VA USB and Serial 2U Rackmount UPS SystemI am not particularly familiar with what this electronic is I just kind of inherited it. I don't know the first thing about it or what these things even do. All I can tell you is it's 120+ pounds of awkwardly heavy electronic and I can't get it to turn on. I have not attempted even the most basic troubleshooting out of fear of electrocution. The problem could be operator error but again I really can't say. A knowledgeable and helpful ebayer informed me that the front cover of the unit, which is absent from this one, is actually a battery tray. Though somewhat counterintuitive, he explained that the unit won't turn on without the battery tray even if plugged into the wall and that the unit is likely perfectly operable. In fact, judging by the affixed testing/manufacture labels he believes it is a new/unused unit. That's what I was told by this neutral 3rd party.It costs a hefty sum to ship this unit so I would prefer to limit it to local interest for pick-up only. If you choose to buy this unit and have it shipped I cannot guarantee it and I don't want either of us to "eat" the cost of shipping. That is my only disclaimer.Please view all photos.
