Grip Size: | 4 1/4” | Model: | V-Sense 8 315g |
VOLKL V-Sense 8 315g - 4 1/4 LIKE NEW; ONLY USED ONCE ON CLAY. MINIMAL SCUFFS ON HEAD GUARD. OVERGRIP AND HYBRID VOLKL STRINGS (CYCLONE AND V-WRAP MID-RANGE) The V-Sense 8 315g replaces the Super G 8 (315g). Like its predecessor, this racquet is perfect for intermediate and advanced players who want a lively player’s racquet with a crisp and spin-friendly response. As the heaviest V-Sense 8 model, this racquet not only offers decent stability and plow through, but it rewards full cuts with some legitimate put-away power. Like the other V-Sense models, this stick comes with a less angular beam construction, giving it a slightly more classic feel than the Super G version. Volkl also updates this racquet's layup by adding a uniquely strong tri-carbon matrix (called C3 Material) to parts of the shaft and head. From the baseline this racquet's relatively high swingweight (326 RDC) gives it the heft to drive the ball effectively through the court. The open 16x18 string pattern puts tight grip on the felt, and it rewards seasoned topspin players with heavy, spin-loaded missiles. The feel on groundies is firm and crisp, with some extra vibration dampening from Volk's VSENSOR handle technology. Although it has the highest swingweight in the V-Sense line, our playtesters found it to come around with impressive speed. At net this stick packs a powerful punch, with a crisp and lively feel on block volleys. Finally, aggressive servers will find more than enough power to force some very weak replies. Volkl has delivered a formidable weapon to aggressive players looking to impose their will with power and spin. |
