WOODEN TENNIS RACQUET
This is a very rare REACH NEWPORT racquet (made by A.J. Reach Co.) according to research. It features a fat split handle and rounded wooden head beam. The old gut strings are ivory in color and are in great shape. The leather cuff/cap on the handle is still intact. Overall the finish is still in excellent condition. One decal on the handle is pretty much gone. The "NEWPORT" and "REACH CO." decals are still in great condition on both sides. Great piece of sports history. Excellent decor for Tennis Pro Shops or sports themed man cave. All of our previously owned items are considered to be in very good condition or better. They will all have excellent integrity. Most will have some kind of cosmetic imperfections, some will not. We do not intentionally sell any items with known problems undisclosed. Any items found with issues can easily be resolved.
