This is one of earliest graphite racquets produced by Wilson. It came out prior to the Pro Staff at about the same time as the Ultra. It is made in the USA and has the same braided graphite construction as the Ultra, however the PWS weights are glued on to the frame instead of riveted on. Not sure if the leather grip is original to the racquet or not. Might be since the gold stripe on the grip matches the one on the racquet. This was the top of the line back when it was introduced and cost around $300 back in the late 70's. The racquet itself is in very good condition. There is the normal court rash on the head, nothing extreme. There is also a some areas that the paint or finish has been removed or come off. The leather grip and grommets are in good condition.
