For auction is a vintage Dayton Racquet Co Inc Cadet Steel tennis racket in good condition. Made in 1939.
HISTORY: Dayton made steel racquets in the 20's. Like other steel racquets of the era they were made with steel strings. These twisted steel strings made a high pitch sound at ball contact. According to my research in Kuebler's Book of Tennis Rackets Cadet was manufactured 1939. "All steel rackets"CONDITION: Good condition. Light scratches to top and sides as shown. Unique orange color. See pics. Overall in good condition. 4 1/2" grip size. Has "B of E St Paul" (Minnesota I assume) on handle.An awesome vintage racket. See my other auctions for more nice tennis rackets.
