About 18 years ago the first 22 inch racquetball racquet was introduced (previously 21 inches) and it was a revolutionary change in terms of the ability to reach and grab balls you never had before but more importantly it gave the player the MOST POWER in the history of the game. We’re proud to introduce the first 22 ½ inch and 23 inch racquet series into racquetball called the Longbody 165 (22 ½ inch) and Longbody 175 (23 inch). Using Ektelon’s successful teardrop shape of the RG Toron which is our current #1 selling racquet and adding the extra length of this racquet it’s the hardest hitting Ektelon racquet we’ve ever had in our hands. The Longbody racquets also contain 3 already successful technologies including Textreme, EXO3 and ESP. Longbody Technology: Up until now the maximum length of a racquetball racquet has been 22in. With the introduction of Ektelon's Longbody Technology the racquets has been increased in length by .5" or 1" depending on the frame. Longbody Technology significantly improves a player’s ability to reach shots that were once unreachable and delivers more power than ever before.
