Volkl Tour 9 MidPlus tennis racquet. 4 1/2 grip. Racquet is in 7/10 condition. Good bit of court rash on the tip and the head guard has worn away in a couple of small place. These are currently protected with head guard tape. Sides have a lot of scraping but the plastic guard is very good condition. No cracks or structural issues. Wilson grip that was always covered by overgrips. Strung with a hybrid of Genesis Heptonic 18 poly on the mains and Gosen Sheep Micro Syn Gut 17 on the crosses. Strings only have 1-2 hours of hitting on them. Not a lof of these were sold, so it’s a unique find. Here are the official specs – Head Size:98 sq. in. / 645 sq. cm. Length: 27 inches / 69 cm Strung Weight as configured: 11.4 oz / 323g Balance: 7.5 pts Head Light Swingweight: 298 Stiffness: 68 Beam Width: 21mm USRSA Power Level: 1957 String Pattern: 16 Mains / 19 Crosses The Volkl Tour 9 combines superior control with that "Volkl feel" but without the heaviness usually associated with player's racquets. It is slightly more power than its cousin the Quantum 10 Tour. The traditional 21mm straight beam construction and more open 16x19 string pattern favor accomplished players who can create their own power and spin. In play, the Volkl Tour 9 has solid heft, yet still retains good maneuverability and touch. The Sensor Handle System provides a comfortable, almost muted feel. A nice choice for fast swinging intermediate to advanced players seeking a maneuverable, control-oriented racquet. It’s a typical Volkl frame featuring super high quality construction, fit and finish. This is a very nice frame and would make a great backup frame if you still play this model or a nice addition to your racquet collection if you want to try one of Volkl’s wonderful player’s frames.
