Anion2 is the heavier brother of the light and powerful – it features a large teardrop-shaped head with open throat and 12×17 string pattern as well, only it’s 20 grams heavier and has a head light balance (compared to the head heavy Cyano). So what do these differences mean for the Anion’s playing capabilities? First, you can feel the extra weight right away – it provides a lot of power and great stability and consistency, it makes the racket a bit more forgiving. On the other hand, it’s not as quick on the volley – but the head light balance certainly helps and makes the racquet easy to swing.It’s nicely stiff, there are almost no vibrations and control is also on a good level (despite the more open string pattern).
