This is in the best shape of any used paddle I've had - and I've had about six of them in the last year and half.
There is a rattle of sorts in the handle like something in the weighting of the handle might be rattling around a bit. It shouldn't impact anything with the play with this paddle.
There are only a couple of scratches on the top which tells me it's hardly been used at all.
The only other signs of any use are the initials MW on each side of it in black marker. I suspect you can easily remove those with some hair spray if you want to.
