Wilson nCode racquets are designed to be stronger, more stable and more powerful than ordinary racquets. The Wild Crimson weighs 10 ounces unstrung and is 27 inches long. The NW series rackets were designed, with input from female athletes, specifically for women with weighting, balancing, head size and racket lengths tailored to maximize results. The NW6 Wild Crimson carries a 6 swing rating which is for the female player with long, fast swings who faces a variety of playing styles and needs a lot of control. The beam width is 23 mm which is wide enought to provide depth and power on the groundstrokes but narrow enough to allow low and sharp topspin crosscourt passing shots. The aerodynamic frame design provides easier frame acceleration and more power and spin on contact with the ball. This racket is balanced at 34 cm. for a 1 pt head light rating for a quick and light feel. Recommended String Tension is 50 to 60 lbs in this 16x20 string pattern where I recommend going down 3 lbs. on the cross strings to equalize string pressure throughout the string bed. The NW6 Wild Crimson 97 includes the vibration dampener and full racket case which features and adjustable shoulder strap and internal zippered pocket pictured (cases vary) String and String Installation are available in my e-bay store for purchase.
