Wilson Ultra 103S 4 1/4 tennis racket, Excellent Condition
Estimated price for orientation: 80 $
Category: Wilson Ultra
Class:
Description Brand: Wilson Country/Region of Manufacture: China Grip Size: 4 1/4” Model: Ultra 103S
Excellent condition. Head guard shows minor scratches over 25% of the guard but otherwise looks new. Strung with 18 gauge Volkl Cyclone Tour (excellent soft poly with excellent spin) at 46#. Please remember that poly strings are known to lose tension. This set of strings has one set played on it. The racket has been strung 4 times but I string my own rackets and cut out 2 of the 4 sets. So, the racket has "low miles" on it. Polyester strings definitely last longer than multifilament/nylon string in this racket. Recommend a soft poly string such as the one I have in it. The grip size (1/4) can be easily increased to 3/8 with a 1/8 shrink wrap that most tennis shops can install. I tried a 1/8 shrink wrap on this racket but took it off. This required the grip being taken off and re-wrapped. It looks good but you can judge from the pictures. You or a pro shop can always re-wrap the grip if needed. I always use an overgrip anyway and don't think it will be an issue. This racket is very well cared for. MSRP new is $199. That being said, I feel the racket is priced well -- a very good value including free shipping. This racket is looking for a new owner. I listed it as buy it now because it saves people time and gives the buyer control. Just my philosophy. Thanks for reading. Comment: Payment through PayPal only please.
