This Don Budge VISCOUNT Popular wooden Tennis Racket is still in great condition. It has a well preserved original leather grip and a leatherette butt cap featuring the famous "DB" for Don Budge. • This racquet is absolutely straight • Strings and treblings are fully intact and in pristine condition • All (6) shoulder wraps are in excellent condition, absolutely no damage • The wrap on the shaft is also excellent • All logos/decals are in great condition and both of the two Don Budge pics are crisp and well preserved The racquet shows some usage on the top of the frame This model is hard to find and very rare in this condition Don Budge is the earliest (and only one of two) man to win all four Grand Slam tournaments in the same year (1938).As an added bonus I am throwing in a nice Spalding "Pancho Gonzales" wooden tennis racket from the same era. This second racket is not as nice as the Don Budge but would still look great hanging on the wall. What you see is what you will get.
