The PS 90 weighs 12 ounces unstrung and is 27 inches long. It is balanced at 30.5 cm for a 12 pt head light rating. The BLX2 Pro Staff features Wilson's Amplifeel technology and Wilson's genuine leather grip for a traditional feel.
The BLX2 Pro Staff combines the legendary braided graphite feel with Wilson's new BLX technology which incorporates fibers of basalt, a natural volcanic rock, longitudinally into the Karophite Black. According to Wilson, the result is a significant reduction in vibrations in the racquet. The Pro Staff 90 also includes Kevlar for durability and a quiet solid feel. Recommended string tension is 48 to 58 lbs on this 16X19 string pattern where I recommend going down 3 lbs in the cross strings to equalize string pressure throughout the frame. With a stiffness of 66, a straight box beam width of 17, a mid head size of 90, and a weight of 12 ounces; I would recommend this racket for advanced players with long, fast swing speeds who want to swing aggressively without worrying about losing control.
