This Huggy Bear 1999 Tennis Bag,  comes from a large Tennis Memorabilia Collection amassed by the famous Australian Tennis Hall of Famer, **FRED STOLLE, during his many years on the world Amateur & Professional Tennis Circuit, & later as a worldwide tennis commentator.........His Collection includes many Tennis Posters, Photos, Books, Racquets etc many of which are signed by both modern & vintage Tennis Players, with all their signatures personally witnessed by Fred himself. This Large brightly colored Tennis Bag is from the annual “Huggy  Bear” Pro-Am Charity Tennis Tournament in the Hamptons that raises money for various children’s charities. It was started in 1984 by a Ted Forstmann, who invited lots of famous Touring Pros to play alongside a guest-list of billionaire hackers, to have fun in competing against each other.........This Huggy Bear Bag was given to Fred Stolle when he competed in the event in 1999, & has been religiously kept in this Excellent condition, unused, except for storage of Fred's other Tennis Collectibles 
Features: 1. Main Pocket, note the double zipper with one pulley & velcro cover on one end ( Photos 8 & 9 above )  is 29" x 13" x 14", for many racquets, clothing etc2. Two Large  zippered pockets on either side 29" x 14" 3. Two Outer 'Open' Pockets, 10" x 11", behind the 'Huggy Bear' on both sides. 4. Two zippered 13" x 12" End Pockets, one with 13" x 12"  zippered pocket on the outside, 2" deep; & at other end, same sized pocket, no outside pocket & 3" deep.5.  Shoulder Strap, & Central Handle.Certainly a One-Of-A-Kind Collector's Item,belonging to one of the World's Premier All-Time Tennis Players
**Former World #1 in Doubles in 1964, & Singles in 1966, playing on the Amateur & Professional Tennis Circuits from 1958 to 1976, winning 17 Grand Slam Doubles Titles 10 Mens/ 7 Mixed ), 2 Grand slam Singles Titles & helped Australia to 3 Davis Cup Titles. After retirement he coached Vitas Gerulaitis from 1977 until 1983, & embarked on a successful TV Commentary Career for Companies in America & Australia. Currently  providing commentary on Grand Slam tennis tournaments for Australia's Fox Sports  & for the Hopman Cup. For his contribution to  tennis Fred Stolle was inducted into the International Hall of Fame in 1985 & the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1988. In 2000, he received an Australian Sports Medal  & was made an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2005.
