Offered is this vintage "Alice Marble Signature Model" wooden tennis racket made by Wilson in the USA. The racket comes with a vintage wooden racket press. I don't know how old the racket is for sure. Alice Marble was a top-rated tennis star from the mid-1930s into the 1940s; I assume the racket dates to that time or shortly afterwards. The racket is in very good condition, with the decals of Alice and her signature still intact on both sides. The leather grip is very good, with only minor scuffs and scrapes. There are various small scuffs and scrapes to the racket paint. The press is missing one of the screws and wing nuts but it still holds firmly with the remaining three. The grip size is approx. 4 3/4" as near as I can tell by measuring with a piece of string. Please take a moment to look at the other items in my eBay store!
