Rossignol F-300 Oversize tennis racquet. 4 5/8 grip. Racquet is in 8/10 condition. Faint court rash and on the sides. Tip is in great shape because it was covered with 2 layers of head guard tape. No structural issues. Grip is the original cowhide leather and is in good shape with just some stains and some wear at the butt cap. Currently strung with unknown synthetic gut in good condition with no fraying. Grommets are in excellent shape including the tie offs. Butt cap is intact with just a couple of scrapes. This racquet has been well cared for. The F-300 was part of Rossignol’s lineup that bridged the transition from wood to graphite. Similar to the F-200 Carbon Mid in playing characteristics - Flex/Dwell Time/Spin - but with an Oversize Head giving it a more forgiving playing profile than the F200. It has a foam core and is extremely flexible, much closer to wood than the pure graphite frames. It has the same inverted bridge and 19mm straight beam as the F200. This one weighs 13.0 oz. (364 g) strung and has a 18 x 19 string pattern. It is in really good shape for its age and would make a nice addition to your racquet collection if you want to try what many consider one of the best player’s frames of the early 80’s. All racquets are sold as is but guaranteed to match the description. Racquet will ship when payment clears. If payment is not received within 3 days I reserve the right to re-list.
