In her return to professional tennis, Japan's Kimiko Date Krumm has been swinging a white and orange Yonex racquet. It's the S-Fit 3. S-Fit refers to Select Fit. The S-Fit racquets allow players to choose between two stringing options. The Comfort Pattern provides the most comfort and power, while the Speed Pattern results in more ball feel and great ball speed. Our testers found good feel from the S-Fit 3, even when strung with the Comfort Pattern. With a 105 square inch headsize, we found the sweet spot to be generous, resulting in good depth and power. Baseliners will also enjoy a bit of extra leverage from the 27.25" length. Using moderate swing speeds, we were able to generate impressive racquet head speed, which allowed us to easily create topspin. At net, we found the effortless power to be an asset when putting away volleys but still enough feel to get good placement on touch volleys. The lightweight racquet offered nice stability, which Yonex attributes to the quad shaft construction called Dual O.P.S. All in all, this S-Fit 3 is a comfortable all-around racquet, offering a good blend of power and control, and should land on the demo list for 3.0+ level players
