Being offered are two (2) each Adidas GTX Pro Graphite Ivan Lendl tennis racquets in like new condition. They are extremely rare finds in this condition. They were purchased new by my dear departed father in the 80’s and never strung as he had several racquets already. They were just stored for many years in a climate controlled environment (house). One even has the original tags still on it. These racquets have never been strung or used. They come with covers which are in fair condition with impression marks from adjacent racquet contact in storage and some minor cuts/holes in the outer covering material only. The covers’ inner surfaces in contact with the racquets are in excellent condition. The grip sizes are 4-1/2 LM and are original as far as I can tell with some light scuffing and wear, mainly due to storage contact with other racquets. The butt caps have what looks like adhesive residue from stickers when originally sold.Beginning from 1 January 1981 until 1985, Ivan Lendl was contracted with Adidas, playing the Adidas GTX Pro Graphite which was identical to the Kneissl White Star Pro, a true paint job. The Adidas GTX Pro Graphite Ivan Lendl racquet was made in a separate factory in France on behalf of Adidas, but evidently Kneissl still sold Adidas the respective molds.
