I bought over a dozen trophy cups when I was in South Africa. This lot contains three. I'm sure they are are silver plate. One is inscribed Cowies Hill Tennis Club 1977 mixed doubles and the other says dulux conference sporting achievement 1992. I can't find marks on either of these but I am sure they are silver plate. My favourite one has sea serpent handles and says E.S.C.1933 120 yards hurdles. It is marked epns on the bottom. I am including a cool wooden stand from the may and co. Sports house in Nairobi. It is made of wood. It was not made for this trophy but it sits nicely on the base.
