Description Brand: Prince MPN: 119K2838 Model: Prince Original Graphite OS (107) POG Grip Size: 4 3/8”
Second Serve Tennis presents an oldie but a goodie - Prince Original Graphite (POG) in the oversize 110 square inch, SINGLE STRIPE, 1st generation model. If you know anything about the history of tennis racquets and the very few racquets which are in fact legendary, the POG is in that mix. The blend of control, power and precision play-ability made this frame famous and was used by many of the touring pros for those same reasons throughout much of the 1980's. This one is a 4 3/8 grip, pretty beat up in terms of the paint finish, I would rate it a 6/10 scale cosmetically but absolutely 100% structurally solid, I play tested it just the other day and it hits like a dream. The strings are fresh, almost new actually and with the rubber band dampener it feels fantastic hitting out the ball still drops inside the lines. We are pricing this aggressively to sell fast, if you don't want to spend a fotune to get your hands on one, grab this one....it's a little ugly but who cares, it's still a POG and plays great. Note: the butt cap has the serial number 119K2838, maybe that means something, not certain. Thanks! The Graphite is a full-weighted tennis racquet with a box-shaped 19 mm beam, characterized by the Cross Bar Stabilizer, which reduces twisting on off-center hits. Most, if not all, versions were offered in either mid-size or oversized head. The racquet also featured a signature foam handle with a leather grip.Prince has produced various versions of this racquet since the original in 1978, including the Prince Graphite (The very original version with single-stripe, teardrop-shaped head, and grommetless; c. 1978), Technical specifications:POG 1 = Tear dropped shaped head single line with no grommets/no bumper and no printing on top or side or racket (possibly just sticker) except for Prince/graphite- circa 1978Headsize: 107 for OS

Shipping is $14 in the US, international shipping charges depend on country location and an additional $20 handling fee will always apply because I need to wait on a line, fill out customs forms, etc and I do not work for free. Payment is due within 48 hours from close of auction sale, NO EXCEPTIONS. I don't mind doing international shipping but please do not haggle with me about the shipping costs and the handling fee, if you don't want to pay that then you shouldn't be buying these type of tennis racquets where those fees will apply. Thanks! Please be considerate and serious with your bidding intentions, sorry I have to mention this but lately this has happened too many times. We are a small tennis shop and it hurts us to have to deal with these amateur incidents. Thanks again for your consideration. :)Please checkout our other tennis auctions and our feedback from other happy customers here on eBay. We are "tennis professionals" selling on eBay since the late 1990's.
