Second Serve Tennis presents a really nice Wilson BLX Blade 98 S in a 4 1/4" grip. The racquet is a 9+/10 scale, was used very lightly by one of my teaching pros and is strung fresh with a hybrid of Babolat VS Touch and Poly at 55 lbs. The racquet was barely used so it is in PRISTINE condition, strings fresh and stenciled ready for a higher level player, NTRP 4.5 level and above. The racquet does have a custom weight layup on the upper loop which we can easily remove upon request.
Note: This listing is for one (1) racquet, but we have two (2) available. The other one is identical except it has a fairway leather grip, first come, first served if you prefer that one for the same price. When Wilson told us one of our favorite control-oriented racquets was getting the Spin Effect technology, our team of playtesters couldn't have been more excited. The Blade 98S
weighs in slightly lighter than its Blade 98 counterparts, but nothing was sacrificed in terms of maneuverability and spin potential. With Spin Effect technology, this racquet is guaranteed to add more RPMs to your game without any changes to your swing or how you strike the ball. Players of every level who love the controlled feel of the Blade will enjoy this spin-friendly, maneuverable racquet for their game. And here is an added bonus - this Blade 98S is definitely a more string-friendly
racquet, unlike the previous Spin Effect racquets, the Steam 99S and Steam 105S, which were hard on strings. Our playtest team only had to restring the 98S when wanting to test different strings and tensions.Technical Specifications | Length | 27.0 inches | 69 centimeters | Head Size | 98 square inches | 632 square centimeters | Weight | 11.0 ounces | 312 grams | Balance Point | 13.38 inches 34 centimeters | 1pt Head Light | Construction | 21.5mm / 21.5mm / 21.5mm | Composition | Basalt | String Pattern | 18 Mains / 16 Crosses |

We have priced it to sell quickly, free set of strings included however stringing is additional, please inquire. Please ask any questions. And...please checkout our other tennis listings while you are here!!Shipping is $14 in the US, international shipping charges depend on country location and an additional $20 handling fee will always apply because I need to wait on a line, fill out customs forms, etc and I do not work for free. Payment is due within 48 hours from close of auction sale, NO EXCEPTIONS. I don't mind doing international shipping but please do not haggle with me about the shipping costs and the handling fee, if you don't want to pay that then you shouldn't be buying these type of tennis racquets where those fees will apply. Thanks!
Please be considerate and serious with your bidding intentions, sorry I have to mention this but lately this has happened too many times. We are a small tennis shop and it hurts us to have to deal with these amateur incidents. Thanks again for your consideration. :)Please checkout our other tennis auctions and our feedback from other happy customers here on eBay. We are "tennis professionals" selling on eBay since the late 1990's.
