Up for consideration is this rare US Army Special Services badminton set. This includes 4 wooden racquet's and 4 different packages of shuttles made with real feathers. Each racquet is labeled "Bentley-Wilson, master made Arthur Bentley Camden, New York." The other side is labeled "Speed Special Services US Army." Each racquet is in decent condition, but does show signs of wear consistent to their age. The leather grips have some tears. The wood has some scratches, and there are a couple of splits in the seams. The strings are nice and tight and have been stored with pine guards, which are also marked USA. The shuttles are made of real feathers. I don't know exactly how many there are as I did not remove all of them. The ones that I did appear to be in very good condition. The packages show wear and water stains. They also have a musty smell as they have been store in a humid area. Each racquet measure aprox. 26".
