Vintage Wood 1920s Leacock St Louis CALIFORNIA MODEL G Tennis Racket Leacock’s was the St. Louis most recognized sporting goods retailer; this racket was supplied by California By-Products Antique old early wood wooden racquet from hard to find maker MODEL: 1920s California Model G HEAD: Classic period oval; stock is square at the shoulders and rounded as it goes around the top of the head FRAME: retains much of old finish on the wedge and frame; less than expected wear to the top of the head THROAT WEDGE: Concave in the style of the period; laminated in place STRINGS: in super condition
DECALS: As shown GRIP: large 5 inches, wide deep grooves; never had grip material END CAP: leather strip almost completely intact as shown in the photo; end cap as shown WEIGHT: weighs 14 ounces actual weight
