Head Protector MidPlus 102 Tennis Racket- Grip 4 1/2- basically newExcellent condition!!!I rate this racket a 9.5+ out of 10! This racket is in excellent shape, it's basically new...there are a few scuffs on the bumper guard. Very few, if any, cosmetic scrapes on the frame (I couldn't find any), butt cap in great condition (see pictures). It has a New Head Hydrosorb Tour grip. Strings in very good shape, strung with Wilson NXT Tour 17. This racket is only 10 ounces (strung). The Head Protector Mid Plus tennis racket is an excellent frame for those with elbow issues as the Protector does a great job of dampening vibration. The sensation of hitting with the Protector can best be described as damp. Head deadens the feel by building on its piezoelectric-based Intelligence technology, used in Liquidmetal racquets, which can convert vibration into electrical energy and vice versa. When the Protector hits the ball, the piezoelectric fibers in the throat produce an electrical output that’s transmitted to a microchip embedded in the handle. The chip instantly analyzes the electrical impulse and sends back a countervailing vibration to cancel out the shock. Players with arm problems should love the Protector, which is available in two models. The mid-plus delivers an outstanding blend of power and control for players with medium to somewhat longer and slower swings.
