Antique A.G. Spalding & Bros. wooden tennis racquet. Racquet is or is about 100 years old. This model is listed and shown in the book Tennis Antiques & Collectibles by Jeanne Cherry. The Autograph Logo was used between 1916 and 1925. Racquet is obviously used and in solid condition other than strings as shown. Leather on end is intact and very nice as shown. The autograph logo on the one side (gold on black) is all there and very nice. The writing on the other side is not perfect as shown in photo.
