This is about the cleanest, almost like-new old stock, wood laminated tennis racket from MacGregor I have seenHall Patented Construction - "The Original Laminated Racket" from MacGregorIt looks like it was never used or possibly once - it isn't mint but very close to it.....I can see a few rubs at the top of the racket face, a few very minor nips to lacquer.....a few very minor rubs to gripThere are 2 tiny breaks to end of grip, very small, on the flat end....strings are tight99% plus of the lacquer on wooden part still thereStrings tight all around - no breaks or unravelingAll laminations solidly intact....all handle string wrappings tight and secure....the small oval label on handle is faded from age and hard to readPatented number 2,339,393 and patented on Jan. 18, 1944This is a very clean and almost like a new old stock, 73 year old tennis racket ...a great wall hanger for your sports room or den or a wonderful addition to your vintage racket collection...you probably won't find too many in this good of original condition
