ailFor your consideration: Up for auction we have a great, and very rare to find...Yamaha White Gold 100 Ceramic tennis racquet. The basic racquet measurements are as follows: Total Length: 27 inches Total Head Length: 12 3/4 inches Total Head Width: 9 1/4 inches Grip Size: 4 5/8 inches Racquet Weight: 11.6 ounces This rare bird...a Yamaha White Gold 100 Ceramic, came out in the early/mid 90's...if I remember correctly...and was a very high tech racquet in it's day. Yamaha racquets were super well respected and super popular in Europe and Asia, but Yamaha never really pushed very hard to break them into the US market...so they are not as well known here...but those who do know of, and play with them have nothing but high praise for them, both in design, playability, and quality of manufacture. It has a wonderful feel for the player who has a long smooth swing, and you can really feel the power in the racquet. It plays really well as a baseliners power racquet, but it also serves and volleys really nicely. Again...for it's day, it was a very fine and versatile racquet. At 11.6 ounces, this racquet is medium/heavy by todays standards...this was on the light side in it's era..., and has a really nice, very balanced feel.
This is a low key, but still dynamic looking racquet as well! This racquet is used, but is in really excellent condition, showing just light signs of use or wear. Be sure to see the condition box up in the first part of this auction description, for a more in depth description of the condition.
ALSO PLEASE NOTE>>>The racquet grip has been freshly overwrapped, so it is super soft and sticky...BUT...the grip size listed in this auction IS for the overwrapped grip size and NOT the original factory grip size.
