This is a very nice collectible racquet that displays well. The concave wedge and slightly grooved handle would indicate a 1928 to 1940 vintage. The natural gut strings, shoulder wrappings and trembling are perfectly in tact. The leather butt collar is also in tact and fits perfectly. This is a scarce racquet, (not even listed in Jeanne Cherry's excellent book, "Tennis Antiques & Collectibles) in excellent condition. This vintage Wright & Ditson racquet would make a fine addition to any collection.
