◄█ The Wilson TRIAD Hammer 5.0 (Midsize and Oversize) racquets were introduced in 2001 several months after the more powerful (2.0-4.0) debuted. The 5.0 was designed for players who wanted the TRIAD's reduced vibration but needed more control that the initial (more powerful) offerings. I think this racquet originally sold for $300 but the price eventually came down to $120 or so. This frame is ideal for a player who most enjoys baseline play where a head-heavy, powerful racquet is the tool of choice but "no thanks" to the vibration associated with rigid, lightweight racquets. The TRIAD system reduces vibration transfer to the handle but up to 60%. This TRIAD HAMMER 5.0 Oversize is 27-1/4" in length, has a 110 Square Inch head, weighs 10.1 Ounces as it sits (strung), and balances at 14-1/2" (7 Points Head Heavy) as it sits. The HS3 handle has a 4-3/8" Wilson TL Foam Grip with no overgrip/additional wrapping. It is strung with Wilson Stamina Synthetic Gut 16. Includes carry bag as pictured.◄█ CONDITION: Near MINT - super minor wear to the grip and some very light scuffing on the plastic nose guard/bumper.
