This is a vintage Prince Woodie oversize wood-graphite tennis racquet & cover. Copyright date on throat decal is 1980. Frame is strung and structurally solid, with no cracks or warp. This racquet has very little play wear. Top of the head has a few mild scuffs.
Grip size is listed as 4 3/8. Original leather grip has some wear.Throat decal on one side reads: HAND CRAFTED OF SELECT AMERICAN ASH AND MAPLE
REINFORCED WITH MULTIPLE GRAPHITE INLAYS AND MULTIPLE GRAPHITE OVERLAYS
FOR OPTIMUM POWER, CONTROL AND DURABILITY.Original head cover has some discoloration on one face.See my other listings for a nice Prince Woodie in the same grip size and one in 4 5/8.
