Model: Wilson Hammer Profile 2.7 mid-plus (95) Grip Size: 4 3/8”

Second Serve Tennis presents a really nice Wilson Hammer Profile 2.7 in the rare mid-plus model, 4 3/8" grip.  Racquet is lightly used, cosmetically I would rate it almost a 9/10 scale, new Wilson over grip installed, 18x20 string pattern strung tight with 17g synthetic gut.  Structurally flawless, including bumper and grommets.  These are hard to find in the smaller head size, wide body power with Mid+ control. 4 3/8" grip.  Nice racquet!!!One of Wilson's all time favorite rackets, so much so they have begun reproducing them. Why buy a repro, when you can buy an original. Originally made in 1991, with a MSRP $299 these were know as Profile 2.7si Hammer System . Later versions, 1992-95, were known simply as Hammer 2.7. The was Wilson's was a tamed down version of Wilson's most powerful racket the Hammer 2.7 oversize. A game improvement racket for slow, compact swings. Dense string pattern (18M x 20C) helps control on full swings. Hammer technology for power. Wide cross section for exceptional stability. Large sweet spot spreading evenly across racket face for a consistent response. Midplus head and head-heavy balance produce a good spin. Super light weight High Modulus graphite construction for maneuverability.  Best suited to players that have short strokes with compact swings.Specs:Wilson Profile 2.7si Hammer System midplus specifications:

Shipping is $14 in the US,  international shipping charges depend on country location and an additional $20 handling fee will always apply because I need to wait on a line, fill out customs forms, etc and I do not work for free.  Payment is due within 48 hours from close of auction sale, NO EXCEPTIONS.  I don't mind doing international shipping but please do not haggle with me about the shipping costs and the handling fee, if you don't want to pay that then you shouldn't be buying these type of tennis racquets where those fees will apply.  Thanks!
Please be considerate and serious with your bidding intentions, sorry I have to mention this but lately this has happened too many times.  We are a small tennis shop and it hurts us to have to deal with these amateur incidents.  Thanks again for your consideration. :)Please checkout our other tennis auctions and our feedback from other happy customers here on eBay.  We are "tennis professionals" selling on eBay since the late 1990's.
