Vintage Wood 1925 Wright & Ditson Big Bill Tilden Jr Autograph Tennis Racket Intact Original Strings, heavy weight, large grip.Clean … excellent condition. Antique old early wood wooden racquet from well-known maker.NOTE: Part of a group of 12 rackets fresh to the market. I will list two rackets a day between April 20 and April 25. Will combine items for much reduced postage for multiple purchases.MODEL: 1925 Wright & Ditson Big Bill Tilden Jr Autograph. HEAD: Classic period elongated oval; stock is square at the shoulders and very slightly chamfered as it goes around the top of head WARPING: noneFRAME: excellent solid condition; much of original finish on the shaft and around the head.THROAT WEDGE: concave laminated in place wedge in the style of the periodSTRINGS: looks like original lamb gut with green crosses and mustard mains; almost completely intactBANDING: the four original silk thread bands remainDECALS: As shown; excellent. GRIP: 4 ¾ inches; never had grip materialSTAMPS: 6 4 ¾ CC 13 plus a couple of others I’m not sure ofWEIGHT: weighs 13.6 ounces actual weightEND CAP: leather strip intact in beautiful condition as shown in the photo; end cap as shown Postage will be based on 3.5 pounds of packed weight.
