Vintage Wood 1920s Wright & Ditson Park Tennis Racket w Checkerboard DecalsDramatic color-coordinated CLASSIC Antique nice old early wood wooden racquet from well-known maker with rare red and black megaphone style checkerboard or chessboard decalsNOTE: Part of a group of 12 rackets fresh to the market. I will list two rackets a day between April 20 and April 25. Will combine items for much reduced postage for multiple purchases.MODEL: 1920s Checkerboard The Park by Wright & DitsonHEAD: Classic period oval; stock is square at the shoulders and slightly rounded as it goes around the top of head; retains much of original bright finish WARPING: noneFRAME: excellent condition; expected wear to the top of the head.THROAT WEDGE: convex in the style of the period: decorated as shown STRINGS: look like original lamb gut with INTACT color-coordinated red crosses and mustard mains; trebling intactBANDING: seven (7) color-coordinted red and black bandsDECALS: As shown; excellent condition.
