This is a GREAT racquet for TOP players. This racquet masterfully blends power and precision for big swinging intermediate-advanced players. In addition to its sleek new cosmetic, the Tour features some impressive changes under the hood. Chief among them is Babolat's FSI Technology, which raises the sweet-spot and tightens the spaces between the upper cross strings. The result is more responsiveness higher in the string-bed, the place where experienced players typically make contact. At nearly 12 ounces, the Pure Drive Tour, with its firm and aerodynamic beam, is a modern player's racquet with above average stability and plow- through. I found it easy to generate pace and spin with this racquet. Aggressive volleyers will find a great weapon for blocking the ball back with penetrating depth. On serves, this racquet supplies some serious pop and spin, making it a nice option for the player who likes to put some extra action on the ball.
There are some cosmetic knicks on the racquet paint from playing tough tennis, but nothing that will change this from being a GAME CHANGING racquet for the right owner.
