This is a Wilson Ultra XP 100LS tennis racquet, with a 100 square inch stringbed and a 4 1/4 grip size. This frame is in awesome condition with only very minor bumperguard scraping. Currently strung with a high quality polyester/synthetic gut hybrid in great shape. Also has a new Yonex blue overgrip installed. This frame is selling new for $299, this is an excellent frame at a fraction of the cost!With the Ultra XP 100 LS, Wilson has built a spin machine that should enable a wide range of players to hit a more penetrating ball. At only 283 grams (unstrung), this racket moves fast - but it also has enough mass in the head to feel stable against higher levels of pace. Wilson has given this model a Spin Effect String Pattern, which features larger gaps between the cross strings for added bite and MORE SPIN. This racket's beam comes with Wilson's Power Profile Frame Geometry, which not only has a speedy aerodynamic profile but features a "V" shape in the throat for longer, more powerful main strings. To further enhance power Wilson builds this model with a very firm Carbon Fiber Layup, resulting in greater energy return to the ball. From the baseline the ultra XP 100 LS swings easier and faster than the heavier Ultra 100 S, but it still manages to deliver a powerful ball. The head heavy balance provides wonderful stability against your opponent's pace, and the open string pattern will allow you to control the power with spin. At net this racket moves into position quickly and feels quite solid for its light weight. It also has some serious power for putting the ball away. Aggressive servers should love the combination of pace, spin and easy targeting. With this lighter version of the Ultra XP 100 S, Wilson delivers easy power and huge spin to a wide range of intermediate players.
