Made in the USAThe Storm Graphite Pickleball Paddle is a much-loved favorite for many customers. It has many of the features we see with traditional pickleball paddles, such as the shape and original Nomex core. This paddle features a screen-printed color graphic swirl with black on top of graphite woven fibers, resembling an imminent storm. The black edge guard wraps around the paddle face providing extra integrity and protection to the honeycomb core.
The biggest distinguishing factor between this paddle and other paddles is its larger grip circumference. This grip size is great for players with big hands or for those who enjoy thick cushioning. Take a look at our close-up photos of the grip: the extra-large holes reveal a gel layer beneath the black covering. This hi-tech gel provides fantastic shock absorption which may reduce the risk of developing “pickleball elbow” or tendonitis. The middle weight of the paddle, ranging between 7.1 to 7.8 ounces, also could help prevent joints from tiring due to swinging a too-heavy paddle. The Graphite Storm paddle is 15-1/2” long and has a 7-3/4” wide face. The handle takes up only 4-1/2” from the overall length of the paddle, meaning that the Storm Graphite paddle has a relatively large hitting surface.Customers love how the weight of the Storm Graphite paddle allows them to move around the court quickly without being weighed down. This paddle is a great choice for all players.
